2017 National Night Out

National Night Out is America's night out against crime! The event is held annually on the first Tuesday of August held at Riverwalk Crossing Park in downtown Jacksonville. The City of Jacksonville along with community partners hosts this exciting annual event to celebrate community and to promote crime prevention. More than 12,000 citizen's attend each year.  The 2013 NNO event won the NC Association of Festivals and Events, Event of the Year Award!

Dress Code: Casual (Wear Sunscreen for daytime hours) All pre-registered volunteers will receive a free t-shirt.

Food provided for the Volunteers during the event (breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack): Meal, snacks, and drinks will be provided

Transportation provided: No

Requirements (what the volunteers will be asked to do during event): Volunteers are asked to serve as parking attendants to ensure that vehicles are parked in the proper manner. They will also be helping with set up and clean up as well as help in other areas assigned. Volunteers must be able to stand for long periods of time. This is a rain or shine event so please plan accordingly.
